Physicians can rejoice about an event in Oct 2021: The Department of Education changed the rules for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). This means many physicians who were rejected for PSLF before, may qualify now.
On August 24th, the Biden Administration gave some long-awaited updates on their promised overhaul of the federal student loan system.
It takes a full 50 days for all of these steps to process, so the clock is ticking! All must be submitted by October 31st for all those pursuing PSLF.
